[23] XXIII. TO THE NEREIDS
The Fumigation from Aromatics.
Daughters of Nereus, resident in caves merg'd deep in Ocean, sporting thro' the waves;

- the nireeids who are nereuss' daughters, they represent peoples of the waters, water nymphs and also are other water races from other planets too..

Fanatic fifty nymphs [Nymphai Einalioi], who thro' the main delight to follow in the Triton's train,

these are water goddesses and peoples who are part of tritons train of fate. its procession.

Rejoicing close behind their cars to keep; whose forms half wild, are nourish'd by the deep,

they keep and guard the deep, they police it and help keep peace, those of these races who have become angels.

With other nymphs of different degree leaping and wand'ring thro' the liquid sea:

- with those of the waters who are not as divinely ascended, they dwell in the waters, the fifty daughters that represent the races also represent their higher transcended beings.

Bright, wat'ry dolphins, sonorous and gay, well pleas'd to sport with bachanalian play;

- with deep dolphins and as them breathing air and not but playful, full of deep ricj sounds also full of happiness, thick with play , fertile festive play from the waters.

Nymphs beauteous-ey'd, whom sacrifice delights, send rich abundance on our mystic rites;

bueatiful nymphs said by all who have seen them to appear delightful and divinely goegeous. Who can also abstain and control themselves from delights when need be, bless and send power and force to the the mystic rites.

For you at first disclos'd the rites divine, of holy Bacchus [Bakkhos] and of Proserpine [Phersephoneia],
Of fair Calliope from whom I spring, and of Apollo bright, the Muse's king.

- for you we present our rites forst, both of bacchus the love god and persephenea the queen of the dead and the fertile growth of spring.

For Calliope the female goddess and high witch scorceress encountered by perseous and oddyseus. Who sprang Orpheus to life and wisdom, the spring of his womb of the goddess. Of appollo and the muse of all, the crown to their powers, bright of light and enlightenment who also landed at delphi as a dolphin and oF gods light
