Poor rude Greeks and Moderate noble Greeks judged as obsolete in new Post Ulysses Greece.

If you noticed the redeemed man slaughtering progeny of a Greek prophet rejoices in telling Penelope that Ulysses lives and is in Ithaca, though he did not know this by meeting him, because Telemachus had unloaded the man slaughterer to his crew as he went to the hut of the swine herder. It is a rejoicing in the paradigm of virtue being brought back to the Greeks via Ithaca.

Arnaeus (nicknamed Irus) is a ruffian beggar comes in and challenges the disguised Ulysses to a boxing match. Irus is rude and insults Ulysses characterising him as non typical beggar as beggars are usually nice hoping to beg things from people and not turning them away by being This portrays shows what a beggar is like and why insulting and kinking a beggar acting as nice as the disguised Ulysses is a sign of not being virtuous. More over Irus is the type of beggar that is clobbered by the paradigm of the Hero as Ulysses. Irus soon regrets starting a fight as Ulysses begins to clobber him. The suitors being caught up by them fighting goad on the fight till Ulysses knocks Irus out nearly killing him. The suitors here portray how they entertain themselves based on the masochistic suffering of others. Ulysses winning shows how the weaker Greeks that represent the poorer Greeks is pounded into submission in front of the equally vile nobles represented by the suitors.
Ulysses wisdom gives him statue and power during the fight outfighting Irus in every regard and looking good doing so.
The suitors cheer and congratulate Ulysses and the moderate Amphinomus toasts him and giving him food. Ulysses then pulls him to the side telling him Ulysses will soon be home, warning him to return to his own lands, the moderate Amphinomus does not head these warning even though his own gut feeling tells him that bad =things are about to happen. Here the moderate exemplar of a Greek noble still does not pass and his own divine wisdom binds him to the necessary death of his paradigm in exchange for the new model of the noble embodied in Ulysses and his friends including the swine herder, his family, the redeemed manslaughter, those who follow and try to help actuate the thronging of the divine paradigm exemplified by Ulysses the hero, Try as he may Ulysses could not save the moderate Greek of his time from dieing as a paradigm in the future birth of a newer more virtuous Greece as he was still way to un-virtuous and vicious( full of vice)

Happy Holidays and Odysseus returns to his palace.

Let me begin by saying merry Christmas, happy Honaker as it has passed and enjoy your Kwanza and holidays you all!!!

Theoclymenus next tells Penelope as she speaks with Telemachus that he like his prophetic ancestors knows that Odysseus is in Ithaca as they speak.
Meanwhile Eumaeus and Odysseus take foot to reach the palace and on route encounter Melanthius a flunky of the suitors who kicks Odysseus disguised as a beggar, this portrays the mentality of the Greeks who ally themselves and relate to the suitors. It is this barbaric behaviour that odysseys wants to destroy to herald in a new epoch of evolved peaceful Greeks. At the palace Odysseus is treated in a similar way, the suitors reluctantly give him food and Antinous insults him with everything he can muster. Penelope hears of the cruelty of the suitors towards the beggar Odysseus and requests his presence in her chambers to ask him of Odysseus. Odysseus does not like idea of being seen going into the queens chambers as a beggar and Eumaeus takes leave for his hut and swine leaving Odysseus disguised as a beggar to the care of Telemachus. One notices Penelope is a kind as Odysseus to beggars , as was Telemachus to Theoclymenus , truly portraying the noble heart that marks the paradigm of the new image of the Greek coming to bare in Greece as the outmoded suitors show why they are outmoded and of a lower specious and evolution of humanity.

Avatar and the paradigms saved for the founding of a new Greece.

My apology but I just got back from seeing Avatar, amazing movie, people that I was with clapped at the end and was in a dreamy state afterwards. Next to crank a definite 10 out of ten and maybe the best movie I saw this year. A must see, wow.
Note connecting to the sacred tree is like unlinking to an avatar secret teaching.
I got a chill when the female said the goddess had heard, resonated for minutes and when the someone saw this film a new visitor whose ancestors were vampire bats, now drinking only created fluids visited, snuggled up next to him cloaked and loved the film so much that he flew up to finish the movie when someone in his group blocked his sight, he became aware of it after it nudged him, wow, 3.5 feet tall and the head is about 8 inches across and it looks like a bat.

Telemachus leaves Odysseus in Eumaeus’ hut. When he reaches the palace he is greeted by Penelope and her nurse Eurycleia. They are fearful and anxious concerning the events now unfolding. He also meets he meets Theoclymenus the progeny of prophet and Piraeus at the palace and instructs the latter to leave the gifts he received from Menelaus hidden as the suitors would steal them if he is killed. It seems the gifts of the king married to the daughter of God Helen are not safe as neither is the ones given the gifts by them. The suitors or pretenders to the paradigm of Greece are not only scandals but thieves and murders. They exemplify the Greeks that must be destroyed and removed from influence to achieve the new paradigm Odysseus represents. In fact the man slaughter is considered more ethically good than the suitors and good to his word and represents the Greeks that redeem themselves from accidentally doing what the suitors do on purpose, the progeny of prophets who are worth saving unlike the murderous thieves that are about to be destroyed. Penelope faithful Greek women has been terrorized by these types of Greeks and is attended to by a nurse who is needed to help her endure the misogynistic Greeks who are obsolete and about to be removed from the collective spirit of Greece. The suitors are the decay of the world dieing to allow for the fertile growth of the above mentioned paradigms allowed to survive into the new epoch and thus founding a new peaceful more civilised Greece based on the heroic paradigm of Odysseus and those who ally and follow his lead.

Homers guineas and exemplar of divine blessed heroism as vehicle to all peoples' glory and greatness.

From the comments on the previous post, it helps in understanding the essence of the interpretive frame work used to decipher the historical truths found in the odyssey.

"I now understand the Odyssey more than ever, its like Gaulivers (Gulliver’s) travels which we know is metaphoric comments on the society of the author’s day."

Telemachus finally reaches Eumaeus’ hut and finds his father Odysseus there in disguise, he does not recognise him. Eumaeus recounts the stories Odysseus imparted pretending to be someone else. Telemachus invites the unrecognised Odysseus to go live in the palace with him, yet fears what the suitors might do to them so he sends Eumaeus a head of them to tell Penelope that her son has returned. While in the hut after Eumaeus departure for the palace, Odysseus is visited by a vision of Athena who invites him outside the hut. Odysseus exited the hut and then returns without his disguise in all the pristine glory of his heroic self. Telemachus at first doubts his own eyes and once convinced him embraces his father tearfully. Odysseus then recounts the tale of his encounter with the Phaeacians and begins plotting the over throw of the suitors. He plans to reenter the palace as a beggar and have Telemachus hide all the weapons in the palace out of reach of the suitors. Consequently father and son will over power and slaughter the suitors.
Here Odysseus plots the destruction of the pretenders to the throne representing the New Greek paradigm of peaceful alliance and marriages with the people they encounter. If you notice the plan contains elements of disarming the war like Greeks and using the peaceful people of old and new generations to take over. The appearance of the vision of Athena is Odysseus divine wisdom and showmanship appearing as part of a way to truly impress Telemachus who represents the paradigm of the new generation of Greeks and their equal divine wisdom to the heroes of past and older generations. He presents himself as a pristine hero embodying the perfect virtues of the good and divine here, an exemplar of what all Greeks should be: THIS IS THE KEY TO THE ODDESSEY AND WHAT WE HAVE BEEN CLAIMING ODDYSEUS REPRESENTED FROM THE BE3GINNING, not just to the generation of Telemachus but to all future generations of Greeks and non Greeks; it is this type of peaceful hero and way of behaving that makes a people great and divinely blessed in all ways and powers. This is the divine wisdom of the odyssey and Homers reason for its writing as well as the guineas of the true Odysseus and true blessed heroes of his day to our own.

Hawks, doves, eagles and manslaughters.

The following day Telemachus reaches the shores of theca. He disembarks early before reaching the city. His crew continues to steer towards the city after he departs from them. Telemachus entrusts Theoclymenus the manslaughter to a close and trusted crew member Piraeus who shares a name with the port city of Athens. One notices that Theoclymenus is entrusted to a crew member’s watch and portrays that he is singled out from the rest of the crew and needs special treatment. The special treatment is at one level due to being a passenger from a foreign land who knows no one in Theca. He is also entrusted to him based on who he is and his history that necessitated him becoming a passenger on Telemachus ship to begin with. He is not brought along with Telemachus and is left to travel with the rest of the crew.
As Telemachus gets ready to seek the hut of the swine herder where unbeknownst to him sits Ulysses his father. Their embodied divine wisdom has led both to the same place and the same high born herder of people, a hawk swoops by with a dove in its talons. Telemachus interprets the hawk as a good sign of the strength and line of Ulysses house and line. Telemachus interprets this sign and includes himself in the positive interpretation of its manifestation as he is of the house and line of Ulysses. Moreover, the hawk carrying the dove is not interpreted by a third part like the eagle and swan was interpreted by Helen of Greece daughter of God. The hawk like the eagle is a majestic bird of prey, it does not have the same zymology of authority that the eagle has though it is considered a symbol of strength. The dove unlike the swan id seen as a symbol of peace. Thus the hawk shows strength to bring peace and secure the authority of the eagle that captures the swan from its penned up set up. Eagles fly higher than hawks and thus are seen to represent the higher authority.
Ulysses is the eagle and Telemachus the hawk together they represent those unified for a peaceful end to the penned up situation that caused the necessity of the need of the hawk and eagle to capture the swan to produce the peace of the dove.

Noble herder of swine and pigs

One might say that Telemachus acted like his father did when the Greeks were raiding Ismarus and did not want to have any part of them, though Telemachus befriended a man slaughterer. Manslaughter is defined as causing death without the intent of such, though intent to harm is part of the action, otherwise it would be considered accidental death. If someone punches you hoping to hurt you but not kill you and kills you it is considered manslaughter.
Odysseus uses his cunning to convince Eumaeus to be allowed to stay in with him by not asking and using reverse psychology. Odysseus tells Eumaeus that he will be leaving in the mourning to seek work from the suitors of Odysseus. Eumaeus would not have it and tells him such ventures are equivalent to suicide. Odysseus and Eumaeus tell each other stories of their past. Eumaeus conveys the story of being high born and the son of a king; he was kidnapped by Phoenician pirates and was sailed around everywhere till Laertes Odysseus father bought him in Ithaca. Eumaeus was brought up by Odysseus mother along side her daughter. If one notices Odysseus men were turned into pigs by Circe and Eumaeus is a swine herder and the trusted friend both Odysseus and Telemachus trust to help them. A high born noble brought up like family Eumaeus is a leader of men of Odysseus noble house yet herds pigs; like Odysseus men?

Penelope’s gambit, Telemachus and Theoclymenus paradigms of children of prophets and heroes in Ulysses time.

The eagle is a regal powerful bird that captures the goose that has been asexual yet is penned and easy to capture. The suitors have been asexual with Penelope only because she has been trying to delay their advances while she waits for Ulysses to return. She tells them that she is weaving a cloth and will not think of their courtship till after she is done weaving. She weaves the cloth during the day and unweaves it at night thus prolonging the suitors wait while not angering them to violence. She like her son Telemarcus secretly waits for Ulysses to return and believes the romours that he still lives and is trying to return. The suitors are penned in the palace of Penelope and the eagle prepares to descend on them and sit next to his son on their rightful thrones. Telemachus has Pisistratus travel the next day towards Ithaca and Telemarcus is dropped off at Pylos where his ship sits waiting. While preparing to set sail for Ithaca Telemarcus is approached by Theoclymenus a descendent of a famous prophet fleeing manslaughter in Argos. Theoclymenus requests to be allowed to come aboard Telemarcus' ship and is welcomed with an odder of safe haven in Ithaca.
This says a lot about Telemarcus and the descendents of prophets that is reminiscent of Ulysses Hades ritual. Are the children of prophets as virtuous as the prophet? In this case one would say no. The fact that Telemarcus welcomes the fugitive from justice brings to question if Telemachus is a virtuous as Ulysses and draws a picture of the next generation or progeny of prophets and heroes. Telemarcus does embody the divine wisdom that Ulysses has but is less lawful and Theoclymenus coming from a divine lineage is actually even less virtuous, though he did not commit a murder and was only fleeing a manslaughter or accidental killing of someone.

The wisdom of Telemarcus a chip of the old Odysseus block

Athena finds Telepaths and Pisistratus at Menelaus’s palace. Athena tells Telemarcus to return home to help stave the suitor’s attempts to sway his mother. He tells him about the ambush the suitors have set for him and tells him to go to the same swine herd to elicit the help of Eumaeus to tell Penelope that he has returned. Thus Telemarcus is drawn by divine wisdom to go seek the same swine herder his father’s inspired divine wisdom seeks out. His wisdom also forewarns him of the imamate danger the suitors will pose for him As Telemarcus prepares to leave a eagle holding a goose swoops down and lands next to Telemarcuus. Helen interprets it as a sign of Odysseus' return. The eagle had stolen the goose from the pens.
As we have already mentioned the goose was a symbol of a asexual bird that Hermes tool the form of to bring Zeus beautiful psyche down safely from the mountain Hera put her on. Here the goose is captured by the bird of prey which is the powerful eagle. Why would Helen see Odysseus as the bird of prey swooping down next to his son with a goose in hand?
till tomorrow.

Wisdom and Ithaca before its spiritual sheppard rises as Ulysses

Ulysses wisdom or Athena hides from him where he is in mist and fog. Ulysses is mystified with the new land and his better judgment leads him to think he is not home, that the Phaeacians fooled him and left him somewhere else. The Post Phaeacians Greece and Ithaca of Ulysses did not resemble by wisdom the same place it was. Ulysses had thought the Phaeacians had fooled the Greeks making them something else than what they should have been, but it took his wisdom as a encounter with a Sheppard to realise that the Phaeacians had done Ulysses such a favour that they became Greeks and not a separate people, thus the change that was unrecognised. The Sheppard was Athena and Ulysses tried hiding who he was from her till she revealed her identity and Ulysses realised he was facing the divine personification of divine wisdom through him. Athena told him that Telemarcus was off trying to gather information concerning his whereabouts. She told him to find refuge with his pig herd as he prepared to get rid of the suitors vying for his wife Penelope, his kingdom and ultimate the future fate and guild for the Greeks. Ulysses' wisdom had to become the Sheppard to Shepard the Greeks into a new age based on the paradigm of his civilly appropriate peaceful ways. He had to bring into being a spring (spring is Er in ancient Greek) of a new age of humanity through the Greeks. Ulysses goes to Eumaeus his pig herders who does not recognise him but invites him eat to feast on pork. He asks him where Ulysses is from and Ulysses replies he was from Crete and fought in troy with Ulysses. He later went to Egypt and went astray finding himself in poverty and later Ithaca,
This historic note portrays that after the fall of the Minoan empire the remaining Cretans became allied with the Greeks and their origin Egypt had fallen to poverty in this age. For if it was not a normal thing for a Cretan to fight along side a Greek and people finding poverty in Egypt the story would not have been believed by the pig herder.

The Er of Odysseus, Phaeacian Socrates to Christ

Book 12 ends with Odysseus telling Alcinous that he will not reiterate his story on Calypso's island as they have heard it and book 13 of the odyssey starts with Alcinous loading a boat for Odysseus anticipated return home.
The Phaeacian crew steer the ship while Odysseus sleeps all night long and even after the ship lands back at Ithaca Odysseus home shores. They gently carry Odysseus ashore and leave him and his gifts sleeping on the shore. As the Phaeacian crew reaches Scheria Poseidon who finds Odysseus on the shores of Ithaca gets mad that this crew helped him reach home and appeals to Zeus to be allowed to punish them. As prophesized in book 8 Zeus allows the punishment and the ship is turned to stone and sinks in the harbour, this causes the Phaeacians to take on a xenophobic policy concerning helping wayward travelers.
Odysseus wakes up on the shores of Ithaca in a country so different he does not recognise it.

This part of book 13 portrays the transition in the shipping practices of the Phaeacian. Their friendly voyages and interaction with peoples like the Greeks ends with the destruction of their ships and them turning to stone or statues. The days of Phaeacian interaction with other nations are now at the bottom of the sea that acts like a museum to the heyday of the Phaeacian naval empire. To Odysseus it almost seems like a dream to suddenly wake up from his journeys back on the shores of Ithaca. It is a beginning of a new era in Greece and the results of the growth of the Greek empires and naval travels have affected mainland Greece. It is as if the Greeks suddenly wake up and beginning to look at themselves, the effects of post Trojan growth and the effects of Greeks of this era concerning other Greeks.
The politics and effects arise as the Phaeacian wane. The sleeping to waking represents the sleepy heydays the Greeks experience while Phaeacian is strong and does not find most of its ships at the bottom of the sea. Part of this shift may be due to their interaction with the Greeks. The Phaeacians allied with the Greeks and soon their ships became upgraded and one with the Greeks, in fact they became Greeks and thus were no longer an independent people to rule and sail around interacting with people on their own.

Note Er of Plato’s myth of Er is the son of Alcinious and represents the transition to the new type of Greek that becomes the fertile ground that becomes the beginning of Socratic Greeks as the Socratic philosopher appears to be a second Er and Christ a third growing from the Greeks of the second. (See Plato’s mythologizing of the myth of Er by Chrysovalantis (Val) Petridis, inkwaterpress, USA, 2009)

Fate via Hades for Ulysses

Alcinious asks Ulysses to recount the other spirits he encounters from Hades. Ulysses retells of the spirit of Agamemnon the Greek hero who does not fall in battle but at the hands of his wife Clytemnestra. No Trojan could take him down but his wife did. Achilles then appears and asks about his son and heir Neoptolemus. Ajax the Achaean who killed himself after failing to win the arms and rank of Achilles refuses to speak to him and slips away. He also sees great heroes like He sees Heracles, King Minos, the hunter Orion, and others. These heroes sit on the elision fields or heaven yet their spirits or imprints in Hades appear during the Hades ritual. Ulysses then sees Sisyphus, struggling eternally to push a boulder over a hill only to have it roll back down whenever it reaches the top and calls it a punishment. To illiterate the hidden metaphor used by homer and the God(s) one must interpret Tantalus, punishment. Tantalus, hungers and thirsts, he sits in a pool of water over hung by grapes but when he reaches for them the move away from his reach. Aesop understood what this metaphor of sour grapes meant and every Greek knew the tale that this was drawn from, i.e. the fox and the grapes. The water also sinks away from grasp every time Tantalus, reached for water. So both the above and below receded from grasp. After bit the souls mob Ulysses asking of the fate of his relatives and by extension Greece so Ulysses races back to the ship frightened of this question of Greek fortune.
The greatest heroes were at more danger domestically than by foreign enemies. Greeks were at more danger fighting each other for dominance over each other Achilles heir was who Odysseus or his son? It was Odysseus and not Ajax or the son, Ajax represents the Greeks who killed themselves trying to dominate the Greeks and the son those in natural lineage for that throne. The great heroes that represent the spirit of greatness in the Greeks become present to compare with the heroes domestically in danger by family and other Greeks. Each hero like Hercules bound the Greeks peacefully as Odysseus does and will, but did not cause each to kill the other. Even king Minos of the Minoans had conquered all of Mycenae. These are the ones who did dominate all of Greece. Sisyphus represents the karmic circle the Greeks suffer as they repeat the mistakes of the past unable like the heroes like Hercules and Odysseus to go past them The fate all the spirits want to know about is through Odysseus the paradigm of the new Greeks Cause those who try to dominate Greece not as the old heroes like Hercules reach for something unattainable and even that which they have or think they stand in is beyond their capability and reach. For Ulysses it is simply sailing to wards his goal that sets him apart as the one who can obtain what is out of reach for some because he learned to deal with peoples peacefully and cause marriages without conflict.

Oddyssey and the myth of Er, Parlimentary reform and votes on confidence

here is a excerpt from the ruff copy of my text Chrysovalantis Petridis Plato's mythologizing the myth of Er, Inkwaterpress USA 2009
I will analyze the section on hades tomorrow and recommend this book to further your intellectual tools concerning interpreting ancient myths.

The ideas associated with the human roles characters chose as their new lives are metaphors for different types of humans. Each new life embodies the content of the archetype they represent. For example, Atalanta's choice for a new life represents the archetype of a professional athlete. She embodies the ideas associated with such athletes like the desire for honours. Her past life was that of a huntress. The idea of the professional athlete is connected to the ideas associated with the huntress to produce the idea of the huntress that hunts game for fame and honour. Epius’ choice for a new life represents the archetype of the female or feminine artisan. Epius was a boxer and the builder of the Trojan horse. Building this wooden horse would have been seen as a male military enterprise and connecting it to a female artisan produces the idea of a builder who is an effeminate artist. This effeminate artist also boxes. As mentioned earlier, Odysseus chooses to live the private life. Odysseus’ choice for a new life represents the type of person who chooses the seclusion of the private life as a necessary result of the misfortune he found when seeking public honour. The choice to live the private life is his attempt to escape the punishments and misfortunes that he suffered because of his pursuit of honour. Odysseus was one of the Greek generals in Troy. His pursuit of the honour of being the one that caused the Greeks to win in Troy led to the burning of its temples. The gods then punished him for causing the circumstances that led to this sacrilegious event. Consequently, he wandered the seas for decades before returning to Thebes. His character in the myth is cured of the pursuit of honour because of his punishment by the gods. He chooses to live the life of the private person because of this punishment. His new life represents the seclusion that one divinely punished might engage in to avoid further punishment. His choice to live the private life is a reaction to his punishment and not a choice he desired to make. Since the divine is a metaphor for life, Odysseus’ divine punishments can be seen simply as the misfortunes he suffered as a result of his pursuits in public life. The image of Odysseus at the end of the myth is the divinely punished or misfortunate in life that chose to be antisocial and reclusive to avoid further punishment. Odysseus’ choice to live the private life is not heroic. In fact, it can be argued that he represents someone who tried to be a hero and had his life fall apart because of it. Thus, he chooses to avoid further misfortune by giving up his pursuit of public honour and becoming a recluse.

The last thing concerning parliamentary reform concerns votes of non confidence. traditionally if a the house of commons losses a vote on a bill or calls for a vote of non confidence the prime minister with advice from the governor general dissolves the government. In a time of minority government and as has been scene of late this can happen easily.
I suggest that once the prime minister seeks the council of the attorney general there the Governor General can veto the vote or accept it dissolving government. If a strong majority votes to overturn the governor generals vote the vote is sent to the senate to vote for or against the dissolution of the House of Commons. Now the senate can be set up in two ways either it is voted for every federal election or to be true to its spirit as a long standing house of sober second thought it can be elected every two elections. Thus it could dissolve the government once without forcing itself into an election or maintain it to full term to prolong their term.

Ulysses' vision of change concerning the Greek's fate in his time.

Ulysses stops his tale with the prophet of Thebes and asks his Phaeacian friends to be allowed to go to sleep. However the king and Queen urge Ulysses to continue his tale. The pause seems to synmbolise that Ulysses had imparted the full lesson concerning the past of the Greeks and how the older Greeks broke their backs to become what only a prophet like Tiresias could foresee. The queen and King ask if Ulysses saw any other people from the battle of troy.
Ulysses describes his adventure concerning said heroes and people of the time of troy.
I will analyses this further next week and let you think about his descriptions with this in mind: the people depicted represent the old decaying archetypes of the old Greece that broke its back to be born a new as what Ulysses represents and embodies as a paradigm. The old is buried and gone and desires to be fully buried. The new is a prophets divine dream made concrete still manifesting into the future as a message for a messenger like a spring or as the ancient Greeks say an Er to the decay of the winter of the decay caused by troy and the victory that unleashed the new wondering of the newly formed Greeks of Ulysses time.

This is also Ulysses vision in his descent or as the Greeks call it "Katebasis" during the Hades ritual of communing with the dead.

"He relates his encounters there: he meets Agamemnon, who tells him of his murder at the hands of his wife, Clytemnestra. Next he meets Achilles, who asks about his son, Neoptolemus. Odysseus then tries to speak with Ajax, an Achaean who killed himself after he lost a contest with Odysseus over the arms of Achilles, but Ajax refuses to speak and slips away. He sees Heracles, King Minos, the hunter Orion, and others. He witnesses the punishment of Sisyphus, struggling eternally to push a boulder over a hill only to have it roll back down whenever it reaches the top. He then sees Tantalus, agonized by hunger and thirst. Tantalus sits in a pool of water overhung by bunches of grapes, but whenever he reaches for the grapes, they rise out of grasp, and whenever he bends down to drink, the water sinks out of reach. Odysseus soon finds himself mobbed by souls wishing to ask about their relatives in the world above. He becomes frightened, runs back to his ship, and immediately sails away." from http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/odyssey/section6.rhtml

The checks and balances of an elected governors general and governing council in Canada

To finish off the conversation concerning the elected Governor general.

I was thinking about it and have a few finer details to the system proposed yesterday that fits the original and still on the book powers of the governor general and lieutenant governors.

Ok the original power is to veto laws passed by the parliament if it does not inhere with the monarchs or governors wishes based on conferring with the monarch.
Since there is no monarch the wishes of the governor general are the authority. Since he is elected federally by all Canadians these wishes would reflect the people he represents, the prime minister is not elected or voted on by everyone in Canada, only his riding votes for him, yet he represents all Canadians while also representing his riding.
the prime minister would still have all the powers bestowed upon him traditionally and currently.
The governor general would represented all Canadians who are capable of voting for this position directly
If a veto occurs it is returned to parliament if 70% of the lieutenant vote against the veto
each lieutenant is elected provincially and thus represent the province they are elected in.
the reason for a strong majority verses a normal majority of 51% is that most of the regional or provincial representation must think the veto or Ascension, as they can vote to veto, should be overturned.

Once a bill ascends past this governors council it becomes law. Of sent back to parliament , it can be re debated and sent to the governors council for another vote, this process can be done several times or both senate and house can have a vote to over turn the decision of the governing council of another strong majority or 70% of the house as a free vote, meaning not one that would cause a election if defected in said houses. The senate would also have to have a 70% vote to over turn the decision.
If said vote passes the veto is over ruled and the bill ascends to law and thus becomes enforced and can be altered in the traditional way based on the Court system, judiciary in Canada.

This system would allow for changes to bills that would make lieutenant governors or even the governor general change sides and vote the opposite way.
this makes law federally accountable to localities and the head of state that represents all voting Canadians at the same time.

Now if a provincial law passes, as provinces have set spheres of powers delineated by law as provincial domains, the lieutenant governor of that provincial decides whether to veto or pass the bill as traditionally outlined by law. If the governor general who traditionally could in accord with the monarch veto or pass a provincial bill decides on the side of the lieutenant governor of that province the decision stands. If he counters the decision then a normal majority of other lieutenant governors( 51+) must vote in accord with the governor general to have the lieutenant governor of that province decision over turned. A bill that passes the governors council becomes laws effective to enforcement and justification. If it returns to the provincial parliament it can be re-debated and sent to the governors council for another vote or a strong majority vote to overturn the governors council derision as a free vote must be passed through the provinces parliament and house(s).
Since one provinces decision is local it takes both the representation of all Canadians and a majority of other provinces to over turn a lieutenant governors decision. However if the governor general and lieutenant governor of said province agree with the decision concerning a particular bill it passes no matter what the other lieutenant governors vote.

thus the system has perfect checks and balances, maintains the tradition and current outlined powers of the different parts of the Canadian political system, makes the country more interactive politically with each other and more accountable to the people it serves and represents. This system is unique and Canadian based ion the system already existing in Canada and utilises the checks and balances originally created to keep the system accountable. The checks and balances are lacking currently as the Governor general does not actively use his powers as he is appointed by the prime minster for ceremonial purposes only. This returns the system to its intention while improving it to reflect the power vested in it as a fully sovereign state with the patriation of the constitution in 1982.
To illustrate this system further it would be like the president of the US having his cabinet made up of elected reps from each state on top of the senators elected to the US senate. However Unlike the present, the Governor general would unify the country politically and effect provincial and federal laws. The governing council dos not make up the cabinet in Canada as the Canadian cabinet would still be formed by the prime minister from members of the house of commons.
As I have already mentioned ridings for an elected senate not restricted to the boarders of provinces adds the element of an elected house that repre4sents Canadians based on regions not restricted to provincial boarders.

More Ulysses in a few minutes.

An elected Govenor General-political reform

In reference to the idea of an elected head of state I would posit this for consideration.

In 1980 the constitution was patriated eliminating all powers of the monarchs and parliaments in Britain to dictate or have any part to do with legal and constitutional matters in Canada.
However, the pre patriated constitutional system is still maintained.
In a time of minority Government the problems that arise without the check and balances developed in light of the monarchy and the governor general are even more obvious. The powers the Governor General has to check and maintain the political power structure of the Canadian system are necessary to the proper and healthy functioning of the Canadian system.
This means no majority government tyrannies and early elections if said majority is not maintained.

The structure of the Canadian system necessitates a head of state.
In fact the check and balances of each province and territory necessitates lieutenant governors to check said provincial governments.
My suggestion is: elect the governor general as part of the federal government elections. Elect lieutenant governors during provincial elections
Continue to allow the governor general to have the traditional veto he has though it is no longer used. Create a council of Governor General and lieutenant governors who can veto and force laws back to debate. Allow a unanimous lieutenant governor vote (7 or 8 out of 10) to over rule the governor general including the approval of laws. This allows provinces and the governor general have a sober second thought concerning laws as they were intended to do from their inception; without this the Canadian system has had the problems we have seen because it was set up to include said powers but lacks the strength of a head of state.
This is different than the US system
Ok so the council of governors could veto the House of Commons with both the governor general and no strong majority amongst the other left governors. A strong majority can counter the governor general.

In provincial situations if the governor general or strong majority agrees with a provincial law it passes, it can be vetoed if governor general and strong majority oppose it

This would make every part of the country accountable and part of the electoral process.

Further more electing a senate based on territory and not population would create a perfect governmental system. I would over lap senate riding between provinces to foster more cooperation and feeling of unity between then, Ontarions and Quebecers sharing rep via senators.
I will emphasise that without the veto of the Governor general and lieutenant governments the Canadian political system is missing an essential part that would make it accountable and alleviate most if not all the mechanistic logistic problems that occur with the Canadian political system
This is the only way to restore Canada to the accountable political system it was originally meant to be while alleviating the problems that have arose since the removal of the Monarchs from Canadian political endeavours.

Thank you

Elpenor versus heban prophet Tiresias

In the ritual of Hades, in the land of Perce phony the first soul Odysseus encounters is Elpenor the crew member who fell and broke his back on Circes Island. Elpenor begs Odysseus to return to Circe’s island and properly bury him. Odysseus then encounters the Theban prophet Teiresias who tells of his future.
The first soul represents the past of the Greeks dieing and decaying as the old humanity falls to the past. The Theban prophet Teiresias represents the future of the Greeks and that eventually they will have to appease Poseidon for their sea faring exploits esp. against the Cyclops. Teiresias is a prophet now dead but who sees into the future and foretells of the future by way of prophesy. The rash Greeks are dead and being buried while the Greeks foreseen by prophets and holy men are being formed in the future a new people born anew from the womb of Hades

More to finish what we skipped in book 11 and why we did tomorrow

I will be posting an idea concerning an elected Governor General momentarily.

the land of the dead and sun cattle doing American Olmec/mayan Calypso dancing

Persephone might have been a Celtic/ early Greek colony on the west coast of Africa.

Now let’s look back at the path Ulysses took:

The land of the dead and the dead channeled through a ritual of Haiti was outside the Pillars of Hercules, at the river Oceanus or the Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean was called an ocean because of this reference. Calypsos Island and the island of the sun cattle were both outside the pillars. Thus our summation that Calypsos Island was outside the Pillars of Hercules and in the Caribbean is now a sound theory, infect as the island is considered west of the land of the dead it must be towards the Americas. the island of the sun cattle is the Mayans of the island of three or the place of Atlantis, as Socrates and the Egyptian he was speaking too stated in a platonic dialogue, Atlantis suffered a catastrophe and was broken into three islands, thus the name of the place of the sun cattle was named the place of three (land masses) In fact, based on the dating of Ulysses, it was about the time south America suffered a flood that made it disappear for a shot while and the ice age was nearing its end. Hence in Hercules time Atlantis suffered its first catastrophe and began to sink as water levels rose to flood even the Mediterranean. By Ulysses time the island(s) of the sun cattle be they Olmec or Mayan were prosperous and suffered their end after Ulysses.

One will also notice the land of Persephone is another matriarchal society.

Haiti of africa, the land of the queen of the dead, holy blood rituals sommoning the dead and prophets

If one notices that Circe had instructed Odysseus as to how he would survive the various matriarchal peoples the Greeks would encounter, this portrays that the wisdom Odysseus gained from Circe and the Greeks that broke their backs to equal him became the key to understanding and dealing with these people and ultimately shape the image of the virtuous Greek represented by Odysseus.

"Following Circe's advice, Odysseus set sail westward toward the river Ocean and the shores of Persephone. He then went into a cave, taking honey, milk, wine, and a black goat. He dug a hole and poured in the ingredients followed by the blood of the goat. This attracted all the shades in Hades, who have a thirst for blood. Odysseus was terrified by the sight of them.
From http://www.theriverstyx.net/odysseus.shtml

Oceanus was the name later given by the Greeks to the interconnected waters of the Oceans, Thus Odysseus had to have left the Mediterranean to reach the Atlantic( Oceanus has also referred to Space but that is a rare reference not indicative of this tale unless one wants to place Odysseus into space?)

Persephone was representative of an earth terra Celtic tribe in northern Africa.
The root of her people was European Celts stolen and merged with the peoples of Africa or Haiti of Africa.
One could place her people in Spain prior to being taken into Africa or going to Africa. The fact that at the river of Oceanus or the Atlantic at the shores of Persephone Odysseus lands to meet the shades of Hades. A land becoming milk, homey, wine and goats blood to create holy blood formula peoples of this land us to channel spirits of the dead. The dead crave holy blood to give audience to an oracle or person summoning them. Like the witch of Endor (see bible) Odysseus calls to a spirit of a prophet, Teiresias, who sits in Hades for being a misogynist, he would have been on the Elysian Fields if more perfect. Like Samuel, Teiresias the prophet that came to Odysseus warns him of his future plight, to stop the Greeks from slaughtering the cattle of the sun and the troubles he will encounter upon returning home.
Now one might say Teiresias was not in Hades and only is referred to have been so based on the Hades ritual practiced in the land of the queen of the dead or Persephone. However his misogyny needed to be confessed to expose the anti matriarchal sentiment of the Greeks prior to Odysseus in Teiresias time. See through Circe and his other adventures as a representative of the new paradigm of the Greeks was not misogynistic but wise by way of egalitarianism. For only an egalitarian is called wizard or wise by all people’s men and women.

The goat is a religious symbol and haranguer of divination in someplace on the west coast of Africa.

If Persephone was a titan does that make the Celts titans of the age of the titans or just of that age? Is Persephone their Goddess representing their people?

All Hallows Eve, Thrinacia, Haithia( Haitia)

Happy all hallows eve and the darkness that descends upon us as those of us who return to standard daylight savings time must put our clocks back one hour to make sure those getting up in the mourning wake up to light rather than giving people extra daylight after work. So all the spirits come out tonight savouring the last vestige of daylight savings time as those faint of heart grip white knuckled to their bed sheets praying for the speedy return of day. Well this year the spirits are shorted one whole our as the sun rises earlier and thus beckoning in all the Gods, angels and saints of all hallowed day. The army of light enters our world one hour earlier, Scary boys and girls!!!

Some say Thrinacia was actually Sicily because the word Thrinacia implies three and Sicily has three corners. Now the placement of the whirlpool between Sicily and Calabria’s might indicate Sicily is the land of the sun. The land of the sun was a matriarchal society and was led by eldest daughter of the sun, Lampetia. She was an elder and high priestess of Helios. However calypsos' island was the next stop and we have determined her island to be in the Caribbean. Now the three implied in the name Thrinacia might represent the three islands of Atlantis which may have succumb to full flooding after the time of Ulysses. Prior to reaching the island of the sun, the islands were the sun set and seemed to offer a home and rest spot for Helios, Ulysses had visited the land of the dead or Hades. Though he had descended into this land (I will look at this adventure next week) he had sailed to it. Haiti which derives its name from the same African root is a West African name- along the Ivory Coast. So Ulysses had already left the Mediterranean by the time he had reached the lands of Hathis (Hades); this fits our idea that Calypsos Island was in the Caribbean. This places the whirlpool just outside the straights of Gibraltar. Could it be that Scylla and Charybdis were at the Pillars of Hercules and Charybdis represented the pirates of the savage waters of the Atlantic? Circe had told Ulysses how to navigate past matriarchal societies and Ulysses had to cross Charybdis after being on Thrinacia.
Historically people have relegated the Greeks to the Mediterranean and far east, realising Greeks prior to Hercules had journeyed to the Americas and up and down the coasts of Europe and Africa( all the way to Asia) helps alleviate this shortsighted interpretation that unnecessarily restricts and biases ones interpretation, In fact the whirlpool might even be the English channel which may have been the root taken to the Americas but most likely Ulysses followed the islands in the mid Atlantic taking off from the coast of Africa. Recall that triremes have been found in the Caribbean, amongst Egyptian ships and Phoenician writing.
Food for thought till we look at this more next week.

Thrinacia, the island of the sun- the end of violent ancient Greek greed

Odysseus next sails by Thrinacia, the island of the sun. Here the sun has cattle or followers that are cattle or merchants. Due to a storm Odysseus was convinced by Eurylochus to take refuge on the island that he wanted to avoid. The storm beaches the crew for over a month. At first Odysseus crew live secluded and kept to themselves till they ran out of provisions. Once stores dwindled Eurylochus convinces Odysseus crew to pillage the island of the sun and kill the cattle for food. The Sun to Zeus and requested revenge for this inhumane behaviour and Zeus stirs up a great storm as Odysseus and his crew leaves the island, the ship is wrenched and everyone except Odysseus dies. He is swept back to Charybdis. Odysseus barely survives the second encounter of the whirlpool before being sent east to Ogygia, Calypso’s. Odysseus then stops telling his story to the Phaeacians. As we have already claimed this is where the Odysseus that represents the paradigm of the Greek who formed in this epoch began. The Greeks who lived in seclusion from the Thrinacia till the circumstances of their life became more meager due to circumstances of nature, the storm. The Greeks are then led Eurylochus to pillage and attack the peoples of Thrinacia. This was done because they were seen as more profitable than the Greeks. It was Eurylochus who first convinced the Greeks to seek shelter amongst the people of Thrinacia. Inasmuch as the Greeks had shared their island and culture of the Thrinacia, the wealth overwhelmed them and rather than allying they attack the peoples of the island to gain their wealth, their subsistence for themselves. This was the last act of the Greeks that were not like Odysseus, only Greeks as virtuous survive this storm and revenge of the peoples of the sun. The events that follow the pillaging kills the other types of Greeks, the violent Greeks and leaves only Odysseus as a paradigm of the Greeks of that age. These are the Greeks that sail past the Pillars of Hercules and go far and wide, including to the Americas. This New Greek creates alliances and marriages rather than fighting to dominate others. By the time of the Phaeacians the Greeks had learned the appropriate behaviour for then international diplomacy.

The pirates of Charybdis and Scylla's alliance and marriage to Ulysses Greeks, plus Tentrikyo

Scylla and Charybdis are both said to be daughters of Poseidon. Zeus is said to have turned Charybdis into a whirl pool. Both represent matriarchal religions. Circe's wisdom told Ulysses to marry into each tribe of Scylla and thus ally with them having one person devoured by the society they would go live in. Charybdis at one point pulled in Ulysses ship and he was ship wrenched till she spit it out. Her the people represented by Charybdis are shown to be pirates and capture boats of the shores of the scyllain hill. So Circe told Ulysses the way to win and gain passage for the Greeks through the straits is to ally with the scyllains and thus gain passage by traveling near their shores to avoid the pirating peoples who whirl away boats. This is how the Greeks became allied to the scyllains

Tentrikyo
in 1838 God chose Miki Nakayamato become a shrine of God. Her husband and son had fallen ill and the Buddhist monk sent to exercise the illness and heal them failed. After she was left to the healing for a while as the Buddhist monk was called off she received her vision from God. The emperor of Japan at the time made her system a one of the official Shinto ways till the religious liberty that occurred after WWII that allowed to return to its roots and become its own religion. The premise of Miki's vision was that the universe was muddy water and God created being. One lends out what one was gifted of life one has on borrow. A main reason for the transcendence was Miki was granted healing powers upon having her husband give her up as a shrine of God. God reinforced the importance of women and their independence in then Japan. God is the parent and can give birth to love and com[passion through a women as well as any man. The healing is the endowment of prayer and true love and the giving of the passion of love. Tentrikyo is a universal religion that believes one gives of one self and is rewarded by the blessings of God. Mind is stronger than anything the body might be tempted to and the sharing of love and mind more powerful than the ills of society. Evil is caused by the dust that cloud the mind that muddy ones vision of good social living, or living with others and the self. One sweeps away this dust to know what the good life is clearly and as Socrates says then by reason act good. It is the healing of the illness that causes ill action. It is the paying of the self for through the sake of other, lending what is borrowed to earn for the self the love of person and God and thus being like God a parent and birther of goodness and greatness.

Scylla and Charybdis

After passing by the peoples of the island of the sirens Odysseus, his ship must pass between the island of the Scylla and Charybdis. Scylla is a six headed monster that devours one sailor per head and Charybdis is a whirl pool that sits on this side of Scylla's lair. Circe had instructed Oddysseus to stay close to the cliffs of Scylla's lair and only observe Charybdis whirling waters across the strait. Scylla's heads devour one of Oddysseus crew members each as they sail past. Scylla means female dog in Greek and the 6 headed monster has been depicted as having dogs heads and a nymphs body in Ovid's Metamorphoses. Homer describes the monster as having 12 feet, two feet per head. Scylla is obviously a matriarchal clan of six tribes living on hills next to a straight. The scyllains produce a whirlpool next to that strait. The whirl pool is often also described as a living monster. So one either has people convert to their tribes or chances losing the entire crew to the whirl pool. It might be that each monster depicts a male and female aspect of the same religion or two peoples living in the same area that afford one to join one of the two if one is to survive encountering either, the devouring might represent the husbands one must sacrifice to ally with the scyllaans that allows for peaceful unity with both peoples. Marrying into each tribe of Scylla allows one to be allied with the people of Charybdis. The Strait of Messina between Italy and Sicily. The phrase Scylla and Charybdis has been used to describe making a choice between a rock or a hard place, two unappealing choices, one that destroys you while the other that hurts you.

Where the Sirens call-the location of the matriarchal earth goddesses of the sky.

Circe, who represented a sexy Matriarchal Goddess religion, explains to Ulysses how to survive another matriarchal religion so powerful and tempting only the leaders tied up in service to their people could hear about it and survive not converting to it fully. One characteristic worth noting in both Siren and Circe's religion is the oracle prophesies both practiced. The island of the sirens , now modern Greek island of Skopelos was referred in Latin as Sirenum scopuli. The Sirens are often depicted as winged daughters of the earth, or matriarchal religions represented by earth angels who fly, like daughters of Era but usually called daughters of the Gods they worshiped, the river god Achelous though these Goddesses were of earth and sky, earth goddesses in the sky as was Hera who is as we have mentioned before The Goddess and equal to Zeus. The idea of the sirens call and song is the divine essence of their religion as the call that beckoned and converted many based on their divine grace. Ulysses the leader and representative of his people was tempted by this religion and included it amongst his people though did not convert to it as much as converted it for the Greeks that only heard of it through him.

Sirens of truth, foresight and enticing divine songs

Sirens of truth, foresight and enticing divine songs

After burying Elpenor Odysseus spends one last night with Circe. She foretells of his journeys to come and the trials he must pass and how to beat them. Odysseus then tells his men of Circe instruction. The first ordeal is passing close to the island of the sirens. Odysseus does not sail away from the island but rather sails close to it as instructed by Circe. She had told him to put bees wax into his crews ears so they do not hear the seductive song of the Sirens that offered glimpses into the future. Many sailors had fallen pray to this song and sailed even closer to the island to fall pray to the rocks surrendering it. Odysseus has his men tether him to the mast while they plug their ears to the sirens song. After a hearing the sirens song for a short while Odysseus begins to neg to be released and allowed to go to the sirens. His men unable to hear him or the sirens call simply tighten the ropes that bind him. Thus the religion of the Sirens which is a divine song is so seductive no one can resist it unless oblivious or ignorant of it as if their ears are plugged up. Even Odysseus is enticed by said song yet is all tighten up in being himself , being Greek, to succumb to it. The sirens promise oracles of the future and the beauty of their religion is so enticing and so true no one can resist join them to the death of their old beliefs. Only one caught in the necessity of being anything but , tied up in the need of being separate as ones own entity, like a leader of a nation, is capable of servicing this divine song, yet still fully engrossed and enthralled by it. Thus a leader of said magnitude can service yet be drawn fully by the allure of the sirens, but needed to hide the song from his crew or people lest they lost themselves, caused a death of their old song and mutinied or gave up on the authority of the old beliefs and leaders.

Elpenor steps on the crack of Zeus enlightenment of Athena and breaks his back not his mother's matriarches Circe's back.

Elpenor who was the youngest member of Ulysses crew was the one who drank and broke his back on Circe's island. He represented a newer yet more uncontrolled Greek that was not indicative of the Greeks represented by Ulysses.
If one observes in each tale the Greeks who represented the virtue embodied by Ulysses do not coincide with the folly of the Greeks he tries to lead to virtue and peaceful alliance. The Greeks represented by Ulysses are peaceful , bearing new sailing tech and those who create alliances. In Circe's story There are the virtuous Greeks embodied in the idea of Ulysses, the average less virtuous ones who turn to pigs and those yet rip, who become drunk with the wisdom and power of the matriarchal society represented by Circe who break their backs to catch up and in doing so, and yes catching up, die out as a separate Greek from Ulysses and are in fact buried as a dead paradigm on Circe's island. If this is true and Ulysses tail encompasses the enlightenment the Greeks go through as they grow into a people representative of the virtue encompassed by Ulysses he will end up journeying alone , representing all Greeks as the embodied paradigm of his being.
As this is the case one can safely say this interpretation holds strength based on the tales of the Odyssey thus far exposed and interpreted.

Ulysses returns to Circe's island and hurries Elpenor and marks the end of the Greek who broke his back to become one with the wisdom that intoxicated and enticed them to be as virtuous as the paradigm of Ulysses entailed.

More Circe

More Circe

Inasmuch as I have already described the Circe tale I will go over a few last details concerning the tale. Circe is from Corfu or Curcera in greek. The island use to be called Aeaea. Some have claimed like "Aeaea was later identified by classical Roman writers with Mount Circeo on Cape Circaeum on the western coast of Italy — about 100 kilometers south of Rome" while others " others claim it may have been near near Colchis, while still others claim it was in ponza as a cave has been found claimed to be Circe's. from :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeaea
However without a doubt it is Corfu and after visiting it I can tell you the island posses an odd magical fertile feeling.

By Circe tale Odysseus is acting like Odysseus once more causing a marriage and alliance that broke the back of the Greeks who acted like pigs due to the fertility rituals of this islands female matriarchal goddess cult. If you notice the Greeks not represented by Odysseus broke their backs or the beliefs due to Odysseus enlightenment.

Aeolus father of Aeolis Greeks and the tale of the mystical medicine man and the sacred great turtle who got new eyes.

There is a trend in the Odyssey tale concerning the alliances he established at the beginning of the tale. The second set of events describe the Greeks in general and the follies they had prior to Ulysses marrages bor alliances.

"Aeolis (Ancient Greek Αιολίς Aiolís) or Aeolia (pronounced /iːˈoʊlɪə/) (Ancient Greek Αιολία Aiolía) was an area that comprised the west and northwestern region of Asia Minor, mostly along the coast, and also several offshore islands (particularly Lesbos), where the Aeolian Greek city-states were located. Aeolis incorporated the southern parts of Mysia which bounded it to the north, Ionia to the south, and Lydia to the east." from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeolis

"Aeolus (Greek: Αἴολος Aiolos [ájjolos], Modern Greek: [ˈe.o.los](Speaker Icon.svg listen), Latinized as Æolus) was the ruler of the winds in Greek mythology. In fact this name was shared by three mythic characters. These three personages are often difficult to tell apart, and even the ancient mythographers appear to have been perplexed about which Aeolus was which. Diodorus Siculus made an attempt to define each of these three (although it is clear he also became muddled), and his opinion is followed here.[1] Briefly, the first Aeolus was a son of Hellen and eponymous founder of the Aeolian race; the second was a son of Poseidon, who led a colony to islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea; and the third Aeolus was a son of Hippotes who is mentioned in Odyssey book 10 as Keeper of the Winds who gives Odysseus a tightly closed bag full of the captured winds so he could sail easily home to Ithaca on the gentle West Wind. All three men named Aeolus appear to be connected genealogically, although the precise relationship, especially regarding the second and third Aeolus, is often ambiguous. " from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeolus
The aeleans were the first greeks who had merged with the nymths that represented the celts- thus the connection to galacia and galoupoli. Where ever you see Gal in a name know celts or guals were founders of this place.
So Aeolus gave the tech of better sails to the Greeks based ion the tech troy had and had made them a strong sea faring people. The Greeks that fought these Greeks for their treasure =had slower less nonrecoverable ships- more on the Giants of Antiphates next week.

One day a medicine man journeyed far to a people to get medicine. Many evil people found out about it and went to these people to destroy them and the sacred medicine. The peoples around these people including their own people got mad, though in unity a miracle occurred and the evil ones destroyed themselves and were captured by the various peoples who tried saving the medicine. As the medicine man returned home with his medicine the sacred guardian of the people the turtle came with him. The sacred great turtle followed the medicine man home. The medicine man had encountered the turtle before but this time the sacred spirit imbued in the turtle and the turtle made sure the medicine man knew the turtle had returned home with him as he wore the face of the spirit of the turtle sharing in the soul of the great guardian. The turtle asked for knew eyes and the medicine man knew he could pray and grant knew eyes to the sacred turtle. Upon his prayers the turtle could now see in colour and not just the black and white it did. The turtle was very happy and many of the animals herd about the good deed and miracle of the mystical medicine man. Seeing turtle so happy and dancing around with joy all the animals wanted eyes like turtle so turtle and the mystical medicine man prayed together and each animal joined them climbing onto the turtles back with new eyes. All the animals were happy as was the medicine man and the peoples who saved the medicine that day and created a paradise for suffering the persecution
they did.

sail tech verses slow non new sail tech and how the brain works, charchras and the various receptor parts of mind, body and psyche.

So the riches the Greeks assume the Greeks with the better sails were assumed to have caused them to attack and destroy those with this tech. So the Greeks left without this technology end up in the land of the Laestrygonians, whose king Antiphates and queen destroy the shops of the Greeks who lacked the techno;ogy of the sail. Odysseus and the peaceful people who allied with countries as marriages were the ones who kept their sail update tech. So these tales are two juxtaposed tales concerning the two types of Greeks, one with ship sails 0tech attacked by the more barbaric Greeks who only saw the treasures and wealth made by the new sailing tech and whose ships were so slow giant older less technological peoples could sink their ships with bolders and catapults.

If you call the brain functions at three levels, first chemical electrical neurological process cause energies that are read by energy sensitive receptors that both send out more energy formed in a particular pattern or in a quantifiable quality equal to its energy and causes other electrical neurological events caused as a consequence of the reception. Other people receive this energy and react at the chemical electrical neurological level Both self created energy and others energy cause nervous system reactions, including activating charchras that are sensitive to energies and can send out energies . Messages are coded in the form of the energies of these various levels- numerological, energy sensitive areas and nervous system. If the energy associated to a primitive energy receptor such as a taste of a fruit it will be coded like a fruit down load code. Now the quantum shift formed energy exists beyond the physical though reflected fully as part of the self and collective totality.

beginning book ten- Aeolus and sailing teck upgrade for Greeks

Ulysses sets sail from the cyclopes island to Aeolus. Aelis the god of winds gives Ulysses a bag of wind to use to sail back to Ithaca, In this tale the Greeks learn how to more productively use sails to allow for more efficient sailing. However the greed of the Greeks for treasure convinces the Archean to tear at the bag thinking it was treasure and that caused Ulysses to be blown back to Aeolus at which point he would not give Ulysses any help convinced that he was hated by the Gods. The hatred represents the Greek lust for power and wealth that was causing them to go far flung, once again Ulysses does not represent the Greeks that are characterised as Greedy. Aelis is the Aeolis or Greeks that formed Thessalonian or the lalians, Thessalonia was originally called Thetalia and both names mean place or seat of the leans or Aeleans. It was their technology based on an island peoples that helped the Greeks improve their sailing.

Cyclops and bad pneumoniatic colds one should see doctors for antibiotics

Polyphemus the cyclops blinded by Odysseus is a son of Poseidon. His religion is based on the divine spirit of the sea. Odysseus finds wild goats off shore from the main island, these goats represent primitive people who live outside of Cyclopes islands
. this also represents the fact that goats were native to this region. The tamed sheep we have already refereed to in the earlier part of the blog, at the beginning of this discourse concerning the Odysseus.
if one notices each reference to these tales refers to a religious idea.
Here the Cyclopes of the bad tribe or band try to assimilate the Greeks violently till their sheep help them
The cyclops Polyphemus got drunk on wine Odysseus brought with him.
Did the cyclops know how to make wine?
The wine represents the wisdom and divine essence the Greeks brought with them that intoxicates and led to the freedom of the nobodies via the sheep.

The lotos eaters and Greeks going native

If the lotos is a fruit that caused religious experiences and people forgot about their homeland, what is this story also saying?
The fruit was causing people to give up on being Greek? Were the lotos eaters converting people with their rituals and fruit of illumination/ No one wanted to return home, to be Greek, to do Greek things. The peaceful nature of the lotos eaters made the Greeks not try to do them harm, but they restricted people from interacting with them, the unity of religion and experience made many become lotos eaters and forsake their Greek ways. The were taking over the consciousness of the Greeks and the Greeks of the second stories of Ulysses had to bar everyone from contact with this race, well up till they could catch up in the splendor of this experience. Recall this is not the Ulysses of the tackle starting at the beginning of the odyssey but the Ulysses that is represented by the three follies of the Greeks, the Cicones, the lotos eaters and next weeks second look at the cyclopes though the first reading was on the mark. Violent Greeks get their ass kicked by cicones, second the Greeks almost completely assimilate and lose them selves and their culture to the lotos eater and finally the Greeks almost being eaten by the cyclopes as till the cyclops sheep save them and prove the Greeks are someone and that peaceful unity is the only successful way to ally with a people of any race without forcing assimilation that is of course always fought and fails, like on lotos eater land.
ok till next week for real

Lotus versus lotos

Lotus versus lotos

Inasmuch as I have spoken about the cyclops I will look at more details concerning their story next week.

The lotos fruit is not the lotus of Egypt or the sacred fruit from India, It is not the lotus but the lotos and peoples misconception of the location of this island misled by the the idea that the fruit referred to is the lotus and not the lotos. I have seen ancient depictions of the lotos on pottery and it drawn as orange like persimmons. The chemical that purses your lips is said fruit is unripe might have a psychotropic effect on people in greater amounts, however I suspect someone out there has a better break down of the substances found in said fruit and at what amount said fruits would be psychoactive.

Ulysses and his men ate of the sacred fruit and felt outside this world, beyond the material existence of any place. The transcendent value pf the fruit is well noted. It seems the Greeks of Ulysses time could not resist the transcendence the fruit offered and its power were powerful.
The transcendent value of said fruit was so powerful one did not care about anything but the gifts it offered. One carved the abilities of the fruit even after one did not eat it for the rest of ones life.

Lotos eaters and what said fruit is in the Odyssey

The storms send Odysseus to the island of the lotus fruit. For nine days the Greeks not represented by the original peace loving Greeks who make alliances.
On the island of the lutus eaters Odysseus men eat of the fruit and become lethargic and do not want to leave the island till Odysseus locks them up in his boat and and sets sails from the island. The lotos eaters island is somewhere North of the African coast, but is it inside or outside the herculean shores.
My Mother Helen calls persimmons Lotos in Greek. It might be that said fruit has a specious as figs do as with the fig of knowledge/life. It might be this specious of this fruit causes psychotropic effects in higher doses but the version we eat has to small a amount of this substance to cause the effect Odysseus refers to.

Yes; you just follow the coastline of the Aegean towards Thrace, keeping land always in sight to starboard. You see the rich lands of the Cicones and the city of Ismarus on your right.
From http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~loxias/odyssey/od01.htm
Check this site out it is way cool

Ismarus was near troy as it sits near the Dardanelles. The Trojans and all others using the straights had to pass by the island and lands of the Cicones.
They are rich people
Ulysses is part of the Greeks that attack and pillage the peoples of the island, killing the males and dividing the spoils of women and treasure amongst them, the surviving Cicones go for help and return in such numbers the Greeks run off with their tails between their legs. Ulysses loses 72 men and neither condemns the action of the other Greeks nor takes part in their pillaging though he suffers the loses of the counter attack as he and his men try to retreat. Their sails tear as they live and the waves not wind drives them, they lose the power of their sails or if you will engine. This was not a powered journey, it was not empowered. The crew is further divided and ships too as more storms hit them. This represents the political, social and moral division of the Greeks over the issue, the Greeks that were of the barbaric bent and attacked were destroyed and separated form the divine Greeks represented by Ulysses.

Ulysses journey begins with a marriage and respect and wisdom of the equality of women. Book 9 seems to be another text of another persons journey and shows the reluctance of the real Greeks to do such evil and the desire to unify peacefully which is the only way to create a long lasting alliance represents Ulysses ascent and deification and represents the real spirit of the Greeks represented by him Although Ulysses is at Ismurus he reflects the real Greeks and the loss of his men the repercussion of the cleaving of the bad people who are part of his group of Greeks and the descent, though not good, people caught up in the battle. Ulysses at Calypso is the Greek spirit and representation that makes the Greeks great in that age. The folly of Ismurus is the Greeks Ulysses definitely does not represent or condom. They are the Greeks judged as inferior to the new age of Greece and for their evils are destroyed. Praise Zeus
Thus like Hercules Ulysses being a peaceful person unifies and allies the Greeks with the non Greeks.
No empire is great if built on violence, Great empires are built on peaceful co-existence.

Begining of book 9 Odyssey – the lesson of the Cicones

I apologise for not posting yesterday but if this occurrence reoccurs I will post twice on Saturday, I will post now and later tonight. I was on a road trip and the extra time it took arriving due to construction added to the dilemma.

In book nine Odysseus tells Alcinious of his journey from Troy but adds tales not covered in the earlier part of the text, I will analyze each tale, one per post starting with the island of Cicones. Odysseus tale tells of the plundering the Greeks did on the island and how his crew escaped having lost a few people. If you notice the Greek attempt at combat and violence caused a loss and led to the sad tale of these events. This tale is not flattering and Odysseus disassociates himself from the actions of the rest of the Greeks. The idea of conquest and plundering is not the divine vehicle that Odysseus is renowned for or blessed for. In fact Cicones is the sharp end of the idea of conquest in Odysseus tale and the Greek period embodied in the character of Odysseus. Odysseus unifies and marries people to the Greeks peacefully and not using violence, this is why peaceful alliance is blessed and historically renown, and successful as Violence begets violence and does not create permanent alliances and unions between peoples, it never has, see peace conflict theory concerning war and annexing land, according to theorist of this discipline no nation has ever had peaceful control of any land annexed violently, though unities based on peace are long lasting and prosperous.

Phaeacia political structure Monarchy or oligarchy and the social equality portrayed by the islanders and royalty.

Phaeacia is a kingdom with royalty. The king, Alcinious has to call to an assembly to vote for and get permission to give Ulysses a boat to travel home with. Thus the kingdom of this island is not monarchy in its strictest form; the king does not command the people with the power of sole authority. Phaeacia is an oligarchy made up of the elite or nobles that constitute the assembly. Thus this oligarchy is led by the royalty but does go through the process of debate and discussion to reach agreements. The courtship of the princess portrays the females place in the society and the part she plays in choice and attracting a male, yet her father can and does make the final offer to the suitor that she will marry. the custom of marriage might take on both types of arranged and courtship rituals, however one can argue that Alcinious offers his daughters hand in marriage to Ulysses because he and she both courted or met on the beach and the perfect conduct and educate was followed by both proving them a good match for the royal family. The marriage as mentioned is symbolic of the political alliance of Ulysses as the Greek and the phaeacians represented by the princess. The alliance is between the Greeks in common and not based on a marriage of nobility as Ulysses is not known to be anything but a common Greek. The pheaecians are a liberated people who treat both males and females with equal dignity and regard; the king even portrays a sympathetic heart when he sees Ulysses cries.

Odyssey Book 8 and of reputation and appearance.

If one notices appearance is important to the phaeacians esp in social circles.

Athena had left for Athens after accompanying Odysseus to the palace of Phaeacia. She reappears as Alcinious holds an assemble to get consent for the ship that would return him home, the motion passes and a feast and games are held in Odysseus honour. Athena had returned to her Athens which is a foreshadowing of the wisdom that later helps Athens rise to power. A blind bard Demodocus sings of the conflict between Odysseus and paris while everyone except Odysseus who weeps, laughs. Alcionious ends the feast to start the games because he sees Odysseus distress over the song. The bard is blind as are the others of the court who do not see who Odysseus is. Thus the people of Phaeacia had heard of the exploits of Odysseus and he was somewhat a legend amongst the people. the weeping portrays how sad Odysseus was over the events of troy and not triumphantly happy with his earlier deeds, the memories were painful not pleasurable.

At the games which included boxing racing and discus throwing, Odysseus is goaded into participating by being insulted by Broadsea a phaeacian youth, Odysseus easily wins the discus throw and challenges any phaeacian to any event with the pretense of proving himself superior, Alcinious ends the games by inviting the youth, including the goader, to another feast where the youth would entertain Odysseus. the same bard plays a song about Aries and Aphrodite angst against each other. Odysseus then asks the same bard to sing the song about troy again and once more Odysseus break downs at which point he is taken to the side by alcinious who stopped the singing and asked who he really is and the details of his being and journeys.

Broadsea goads Odysseus into participating in the games and shows that on Phaeacia this is an acceptable way to get one motivated. that the appearance of weakness is considered a motivating factor to prove oneself otherwise. The fact the Alcinious ends the games after realising Odysseus would make every male on the island look bad shows how the reputation and appearance of the inhabitants is important at both the social and personal level. the phaeacians are big on appearance and reputation and not allowing someone to look bad even when weeping without a known reason to a song.

Led traffic lights and concerns over their sub standard use.

before I post the next section on Odysseus I thought I should mention a more vcivic matter.
In Toronto starting in and approximately 2005 the city of Toronto began using LED traffic lights as opposed to the older and well proven incandescent lights. I have actually contacted the Engineer concerning this matter but my engineering skills free of occupational reserve proved superior to all his training. Even the common person knows led lights are effected by UV from the sun. Anyone with a cell phone knows this, thus a 12 year old is wiser concerning led and UV. The new lights fad and do not burn out as the old lights did. The city has started a program where you can report faded light. This means lights fad faster than the change program. In fact the cheaper lights fad too fast making road conditions dangerous. t5he new LED lihjys do nott use a colour filter that stops reflection and direct sun light not only fads the already dimmer lights but causes them to reflect light fooling people into thinking they are on. I have observed many people slowing down and running lights due tpo the inferiority of the sub standard of lights. they are said to have passed minimum requirements esp in the first week the light is changed then they fad below standards, the standards board that did this testing failed and proved themselves incapable of being trusted concerning their testing. visitors to Toronto from non led lighted areas observe the normally dimmer light. these conditions are dangerous but the city prefers to use these less safe substandard light system cause it saves a lot on electrical and replacement cost, but I guess the cost on human lives is not regarded

I am ta=king the issue to the justice system and hope to convince a judge as I have all who has seen my evidence to cause the lights to be changed.
If you have a moment please email Mayor miller (mayor_miller@toronto.ca) and mention the issue in hopes to fix it.

Analysis of social custom, educate and what impresses Phaeacians, Coa Dai a Vietnamese universal perspective religion.

The Phaeacian's social educate and ritual of cleansing indicate the type of ritual and social value attributed to the customs of the island. Hercules went to Phaeacia to cleans himself and learn control necessary to maintain social educate. Ulysses performs perfectly within the rules of this social educate proving the Greeks of his time were capable of acting within such social guidelines and thus is offered the kings daughter as a wife representing the marriage of the two peoples. Proper respect of women is part of this educate, including understanding the social repercussions of certain actions towards a women. In fact the xenophobia of the island is a product of strangers not accustomed to the same social rules, educates and social consciousness. If Ulysses had chosen the daughter of the king to accompany him so as to appear as a native of the island he would have jeopardised her reputation and endangered his by doing so and not being conscious of the proper educate afforded women on the island. He was also conscious to the fact that being accompanied by a commoner would make his entry into the capital less pronounced and more socially acceptable, esp. a female whose relations would not come into question upon arriving at the palace.
Interestingly it is wisdom concerning courting that sends the princess to wash her clothes, she wanted to look good for her courtiers. This portrays the social customs concerning courting and the female’s part in attracting such people. Alcinious offering of his daughters hand in marriage shows that Ulysses not only was attracted but proved himself superior to all previous courtier of the fair maidens hand in marriage. Thus as an ambassador Ulysses portrayed all the social consciousness necessary to befriend and cause an alliance or marriage between the two peoples.

Cao Dai ( Chow Dah ee): is a religion born in Vietnam during the 1920's
Its 0origins begin in ancient and tradition meditation/medium rituals that invoke a divine interaction. Cao Đài Tiên Ông Đại Bồ Tát Ma-ha-tát (translation: Cao Dai :] Ancient Sage / Great Bodhisattva Mahasattva)
Cao Dai means high place or heavenly place, tower or transcendent high reaches. It is believed that there are four teachings Thần (angel), Thánh (saint), Tiên (sage), and Phật (Buddha) ; each teaching respectfully corresponds to a hierarchal teaching of reverence and height on the tower of transcendence. The first period of history is believed to be that of the Old Testament, the first Buddha while the second includes Jesus and Loazi and the third is when God is in control. The third period is considered to be manifesting now. The religion is considered to be founded by God directly as is Judaism and other religions. The originator called the initiator of Gods founded religion, Ngô Văn Chiêu is said to have interacted with God and was told not to use the cross as a symbol of the new religion as it was already used but to us the eye in the pyramid as a symbol, the symbol appeared to him twice to indicate that God wanted it to be used as the religions symbol.
Cao Dai believes that there are 72 inhabitable planets that make up the upper plains of transcendence with intelligent life on them. Earth is 68 and 73 is hell. Ciaddist believe people like Victor Hugo are great sages and are used in religion doctrine based on Ngô Văn Chiêu, writing
The main initiators that help mold the religion were Ngô Văn Chiêu, Cao Quỳnh Cư, Phạm Công Tắc and Cao Hoài Sang. Ngô Văn Chiêu allowed the political material manifestation of the religion to form on its own , thus the religions structure controlled by the Tây Ninh Holy See and do not reflect the full egalitarian gender roles of the founder or initiator, for example the political authority of females in the religion, though progressive in their time reflect a misnomer drawn from the cosmology thus women can gain high rank but are not allowed to be pope as it is feared it would lead to chaos( see cosmology below ) The See was developed based on the catholic hierarchy that Vietnamese became accustom to based on the French occupation of said land.
There is an interesting Cosmology followed by the Coa Dai that is a good stepping stone to eastern mysticism.

In the beginning there was the Toa the formless potential( chaos in ancient Greek) that is equivalent to the formless form or God beyond being in western tradition. Then there was a big bag and the actualised God or simply God is formed.. Thus God beyond being is the Toa and the actualised God at the origin of creation is God. God then formed a pattern of actualised existence and set it as the Yang and then reflective cleaved yin from him that is the Buddha and the highest enlightenment of all created within the uni9verse that is the yin. The yin is female and both yin yang the logos or logic of the universe as set patterns or divine programs. Since Buddhahood is considered the highest transcendence, the female wisdom of yin is the up most transcendence of enlightenment and order of the universe, thus gender and sex based political treatment as incompatible difference counters this lesson. Women keep order and divinely represent the enlightenment that leads to oneness with yang and the ability to access him Toa as God does. Tjhis cosmology captures the imagination, is truly something God wanted saved as an actualised explanation of God.

One notices that the enlightenment project effected religions formed since the late 1700’s .The idea of the universal of God in all religions versus the older xenophobia that dissipated became a core idea in the new religions. However the shift from the idea that everyone will convert to one religion exalting every religion as a glory of God gave way the universal relativism outlined in the preface to this blog, see first post Feb. 2008.)
A new age of religion is dawning and it is beyond the liberal I am right and I tolerate your way though I am right and I believe no other doctrine is and the late liberal idea that a single teaching can unify all religions peaceful into one doctrine without having any relative perspectives, The newest idea entails universal relative perspectives that entail no conversion to any doctrine yet allowing the embrace of each way as part of ones universal Way or path.

Alcinious, Pheaecian Palace and their queen, the alliance and marriage born of wise educate.

Oddysseus leaves the fair princess on the road for her parents palace. On the way Athena appears as a girl who accompanies him to the palace, she mistifies his presence so he is not easily discerned as a foreigner as the Pheaecians who were known to be xenophobic. At the city Athena disappears as Odysseus encounters a festival meant for Poseidon and is impressed by the palace. Here we see wisdom hiding Odysseus who enters the city with someone making him look conspicuous or out of place, Wisdom dictated using someone as that kind of cover. Once in the palace he falls to his knees in front of the queen and the mistification disappears, the mist pr air of being a commoner dissipates. He tells the queen and Alcinious of his plight and they agree to help him by giving him a ship, Later the Queen recognizes her daughters clothes on Odysseus and confronts him. Je explained how he got to Pheaecia from Calypsos island and the encounter of the princess on the beach and how he got the clothes. Wisely he added that it was his idea to come to the palace alone not to jerpordise the fair princess with romours. The king is so impressed he offers the daughter as a bride. This portrays how the wisdom, social educate and ritual pertinent to the islands culture was important for a marriage or alliance to be Forged.

Phaeacians and its location, the connection to washing as a ritual cleansing linked to hercules as well, a taste of semeria of africa, Hercules last

The Greek name for Calipso: Kaluyw, sounds even more native american.

Nausicaa is beseecher by Ulysses on his knees, he chooses to forgo telling her that he is a ruler and chooses to act as a humble supliant.

The fact Nausicaa has courtiers seems to suggest that women in this land courted rather than simply being arranged.

"it was during [this beseechment] that Nausicaa learned the details of Odysseus' plight, and having observed his manners, she understood that the man was no fool. And he who thinks by himself and understands beyond appearances does better, for as Nausicaa herself said, this kind of ordeal is often sent by Zeus,

"... who follows his own will in dispensing happiness to people whatever their merits." (Nausicaa to Odysseus. Homer, Odyssey 6.189).

( from http://homepage.mac.com/cparada/GML/Nausicaa.html)

"The island of the Phaeacians, which is in the Ionian Sea off the coast of Epirus, was originally called Drepane (Sickle-island), but later was called called Scheria, and Corcyra.

To this island emigrated Macris, a nurse of Dionysus 2, when Hera drove her from Euboea. This is the reason why Corcyra was also called Macris Isle, to be distinguished from Abantian Macris, which was Macris' first residence in the island of Euboea.

It has also been told that when Heracles 1 arrived to the island in order to cleanse himself for the murder of his children by Megara, he there made love to the naiad Melite 2, daughter of the river god Aegaeus, and that their child Hyllus 1 was born in the isle of the Phaeacians.

The name Phaeacians, some say, derives from Phaeax 1, son of Poseidon and Corcyra and father of King Alcinous. That could be so, but others assert that King Alcinous was the son of Nausithous 1, who once ruled the Phaeacians and was the man who settled them in the island of Scheria, after having fled from the CYCLOPES (or from those Cyclopes who resemble them), because they plundered them. Nausithous 1 himself was son of Poseidon and Periboea 1, the youngest among the daughters of Eurymedon 2, who is said to have once been king of the GIANTS, and the one responsible of bringing destruction on his people and on himself.

King Nausithous 1 had two sons, Rhexenor 2 and Alcinous. Rhexenor 2, who was killed by Apollo, was the father of Arete, who married her uncle Alcinous. While Alcinous was king of the Phaeacians, he received the ARGONAUTS, who had stolen from Colchis the Golden Fleece, and he also protected the Colchian princess Medea, who being in love with Jason, captain of the ARGONAUTS, accompanied them. The Colchians who pursued them demanded of Alcinous that he should give Medea up; for she was also accused of having murdered her brother Apsyrtus. The king answered their demand declaring that if she were still a maid, he would send her back to her father, King Aeetes of Colchis, but that if she already had slept with Jason, he would give her to him. It was then that Queen Arete, anticipating matters, married Medea to Jason.

Years later, the shipwrecked Odysseus, on his homeward way from Troy, landed on a Phaeacian beach, where he was discovered by Alcinous' daughter Nausicaa, who had gone there to wash clothes. At this time, the city was surrounded by high battlements, and had two harbours, the Phaeacians being excellent navigators. The king's palace was a splendid building with doors of gold and walls of bronze topped with enamel tiles. The entrance was protected by gold and silver dogs that served as sentries, and outside the courtyard there was a large orchard where there grew pear, pomegranate, apple, fig, and olive trees that gave fruit of the best quality at all seasons of the year. The same was in their vineyard; for while some grapes dried in the sun, others were gathered or being trodden, and still others were unripe. The Phaeacian chiefs enjoyed their great food and wine in a large hall, where youths of gold held flaming torches to light them by night.

This blessed realm, where the gods used to show themselves without disguise when attending the Phaeacian banquets, was the last foreign land Odysseus visited before returning to Ithaca. It was here that he found assistance, and King Alcinous, after bestowing gifts on him, sent him home in a Phaeacian ship, constructed with superior knowledge; for the vessel had neither steersmen nor steering-oars, and knew by itself what the crew was thinking and proposed to do. "

Note that Er , the focus of my text of the myth of Er was the son of Alcinious.
Motice that after running off his wife, hercules does not kill his first wife in the original tale, hercules goes to this island to wash, or cleans himself.
Thus the ritual of washing or baptising oneself on Phaeacians goes back to Hercules. Thus far Ulysses has gone towards Atlantis outside the pillars of hercules and returns to the ionian sea to be cleansed. The order in Hercules is reversed, Hercules goes to Phaeacians first to cleans himself of rage that drove his wife and children away, then he goes to see Atlas( see earlier part of blog on write up on hercules).

Note Hercules trip to Hades might be equated to a journey to northern Africa and the death rituals the people
Of Haiti( hades) practice related to the use of the term Zombie, this wou;ld have been the last people he visited and partook in the death cult rituals before unifying them with the Greeks, Ulysses later trip to the Semerians is equivalent journey and connection to Africans, as Semeria means equinox or when the sun rises evenly in the sky like it does along the equator. Most likely the Semerians are Bantu of related to similar beliefs.

Meeting Phaeacian princess Nausicaa- the ritual washing before courtship, and alliance

Meeting Phaeacian princess Nausicaa- the ritual washing before courtship, and alliance

Book 6 of the Odyssey - Meeting Phaeacian princess Nausicaa

Odysseus awakes in a forest and hears women playing ball while washing their clothes. He finds that he is also naked and un-garbed and exposed he entreats the women to help him out without revealing his political identity as he is exposed as it is. Princess Nausicaa and her hand maidens comprised the playing nubile women. The previous night the princess had a dream in which Athena or the princesses wisdom based on the influences of divine providence reminded and convinced her that it was time to do the wash to be clean and more appealing to the males who were courting her. Thus the princess could be convinced by wisdom concerning cleanliness, hygiene and make courtship to engage in washing her clothes. It is also wisdom that makes a cleaned and washed Odysseus seem extra attractive, a naked clean wisdom. She instructs Odysseus as to how to reach the palace in the capital city and how to entreat and approach Arrete the queen of Phaeacia. She would not accompany him back to the palace but rather meet him there as she felt it would be more appropriate not to be seen accompanied by a strange male while entering the city. This behaviour alludes to the social sense and educate the princess had which goes along with her social wisdom concerning why she washed her clothes. A prayer of hospitality based on wisdom to Athena sets Odysseus off towards t5he city.

It seems Athena wanted Odysseus to wash his divine clothes as he wanted the same of the princess, they meet naked and exposed and both partake in a ritual bathing to wash themselves before strategising as to how to greet the rules of Phaeacia. The ritual bathing that is both considered attractive and wise in this land is also the precursor for the instructions and meeting of the elites and royalty of the island. The bathing is also part of a courtship ritual, or adds to it as wisdom and belief, and this courtship ritual extends to the idea of a marriage or courtship between the Greeks and the rules of the island.
Plus the vision of the need of washing , or ritual baptism, was to help court people and the courtship was with Odysseus.

Calypsos anti gender matriarchal system, Ulysses journey after gender enlightenment

In book five of the odyssey, Athena makes a case based on wisdom to compel the gods, minus Poseidon to have Calypso set him free. Poseidon is away while this wisdom is imparted. This shows that Ulysses had become wise on said island. Hermes was sent to Calypso to tell her that Ulysses must be freed to go home. This shows that the Greeks imparted their knowledge to the people of Calypso and the wedding was completed. Calypso sends a cold reply to the god chastising them on the double standard the male gods experience in comparison to the females. She even accuses the gods of adultery and making women subservient to their male patriarchy. This shows that calypsos island was one that promoted gender equality, it was not a fertility cult that simply promoted women goddesses and allowed only wise men in their midst as will be the case with coerce. Hera's fertility rites and ways to immortality passed down from Hercules Atlantis are still part of the ritual, but the gender equality is part of the spirituality of Calypso’s island. It took 7 years for Ulysses to reach the transcendence of gender equality to be able to partake in the immortality. The wisdom upgraded Ulysses ship technology and a new boat of the new tech stocked by Calypso sent Hercules off the island through another treacherous journey. Poseidon, returning from a trip to the land of the Ethiopians, saw that the gods had helped Ulysses sail from calypso so he made the waters treacherous. Meaning the journey was treacherous and Ulysses ends up on island of the Phaeacians. Ino helped in the storms by giving Hercules a magic a magic veil that allowed him to survive even when the ship sank. The veil is life preserving equipment the Calypso added to the new ship, like a life jacket. Athena or Ulysses wisdom helps him survive the trip as he ends the new sea navigation up river on the island of the Phaeacians,
