iliad1 pryers to Ulysses, Ajax

And waft the sacrifice to Chrysa's shores,
With chosen pilots, and with labouring oars.
Soon shall the fair the sable ship ascend,
And some deputed prince the charge attend:
This Creta's king, or Ajax shall fulfil,
Or wise Ulysses see perform'd our will;
Or, if our royal pleasure shall ordain,
Achilles' self conduct her o'er the main;
Let fierce Achilles, dreadful in his rage,
The god propitiate, and the pest assuage."
-          Here the king says and after recompense let her go wraft to her shores with faithful guards and pilots
-          With ours the ship will rise to those shores. Let a arbitrator prince attend to the change,
This is a prayer adding to the idea that ajax and Ulysseus are gods worshipped from old in the kings( authorite) time “This Creta's king, or Ajax shall fulfil,
Or wise Ulysses see perform'd our will;
Or, if our royal pleasure shall ordain, “
Notice Achilles is referred to as a living normal person who will attend in main to complete this task, assuage the Gods and have the pestilence end.  However as you notice Ulysses and Ajax are refered to as in prayer.  Thus this part is afte troy as we said on the first day, a larger battle for troy placing troy in the west ( esthen) towards fomer Italy and france as we suspected Paris.
Interesting ideas ,  more on this later.
