In some of the tales concerning the marriage of Perseus and Andromeda, Perseus uses the same knowledge of Hermes, the cycle , to conquer the Cetus. In the other tale he uses the authority of the head of Medusa. In fact it was the authority of both that caused Perseus to unify with Joppa, The epoch of Joppa began with the teaching of the Cetus, a underwater being from earth. The Cetus represents the authority of the epoch of Jopa that is being transited from and purged by water, esp as the Cetus were of water. As Egyptians say, the earth and epochs change by destruction, as do Jews, some of fire, some of water, some of earth and some of air. This is Perseus walk with God and the wife's who meets him. It is a transition of the epoch based on the new unities of authority Perseus had made representing all his people. Thus this purging was seen for real, like many of the divine events that create myth based on walks with God. Thus Perseus unified with the people of Jopa by marrying the crown princess and having all thier peoples begin a new epoch for Greece, humanity and all the cosmos as all great winners do , like we do.
